An accomplished musician with nearly 40 years of teaching experience and 50 years of playing and performance experience, MusicMan has shared the stage with many of the world’s greatest musical artists — including Branford Marsalis, Kamasi Washington, Donald Vega, Morris Day, Enrique Iglesias, and Speech of Arrested Development, among many others.

He has performed at national venues including 5th Street Dicks, The World Stage, the New York and L.A. Convention Centers, the Shrine Auditorium (Academy Awards), the Rose Bowl, Arrowhead Stadium, The Blue Room, The Gem Theater, and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

MusicMan was born in Kansas City with roots from New York and L.A. He attended Tarkio College, Long Beach City College, and Cal State LA, where he studied Music Education, Afro-Cuban/Latin Jazz Performance, Bassoon, Percussion, Piano, Saxophone, and Voice, and studied private vocal pedagogy and theater in Manhattan.

He is the founder of the bands Poetry In Motion and Musication, and the music company MusicMan Music Services. He currently teaches at Music & Arts, privately online and in-home, and at the Kansas City Jazz Academy.
